Special Characteristics: His key is of black colour. The top had the in signer of his armour on the white with silver flames around it. the shaft has several small red rubies sat on it and the bottom looks a lot like a sword upon a cross. His gate is gate of the phoenix. And Ran is the one who declared him Valor.

Personality: A bit simple. He's not the smartest person you would meet but Valor is a kind soul. He is everything his name stands for, upholding honer of knights in battle though he can be a bit cocky at times. He is loyal to his spirit mage even when the pair don't always get along at the best of times. He's very dependable.

He isn't the brightest crayon in the box. On his first summons he forgot how to breathe.....or that he didn't really need to breathe. Having a habit of appearing not suited for battle (Spirits have to shower to). He never will win tatiction of the year award as his general plan is repeated use of the same spell. But he is the type that will shield his master with his own body even when ordered not too. His honer comes first over listening to orders.

He has the habit of spacing out when something seems to trigger some unknown memories and at times can get suddenly depressed. Though it's easy to coax him out of it with sugar doughnuts or kind words he dose realize there is something important he has lost and his goal is to find it.

Valor has an unnatural preference to the Human realm for a celestial spirit. Often staying out longer then needed to just soak in that human realm air. Or even coming out of the gate himself just to relax with Ran and get along with the people in the guild. Though when told to he returns with much pouting.


Likes:
sugar ring doughnuts: Though a spirit he can eat human world food and finds himself very found of this delicious treat.

honer of knights: He is a knight...sworn by vows he can not remember but he still holds the belief firm in his heart. He very much holds justice and honer and frowns deeply upon cheating and underhanded battle tactics

Being in the human realm: Weather it be to fight or to be with his master he seems content....It feels more like home.


Dislikes:
Dis-honer: Those who use there powers for the unjust, tyrants and dark mages. People who harm the defenseless. Seeing people like them anger him greatly.

when Ran threatens to snap his key: Though he know ran is only teasing he can never know if the other is serious or not sometime. That and the threats are for things he hardly did on purpose.

Rain: It makes him feel oddly depressed over something that when he tries to find it's source just makes his heart ache.

General Appearance: Tall and well toned he fits the image of a knight. His usual wear is the legendary Armour of the phoenix that was said to be worn then stolen by a traitorous knight many years ago.

The armour is a silver chest plate with two golden phoenixes on it, forehead pressed together claws entwined together with wings flared behind the and the tails curled below. only the right arm is bathed in armour with a spiked shoulder plate with 3 layered armour plates sit below it. A elbow plate with spikes protect his elbow joint but do not hinder movement. and a spiked armoured glove with talons around his fingers. The left arm has just a flat collar guard and the elbow plate finished with a plat of metal over his knuckles on a thick leather gauntlet.

Under the Armour sits a chain mail shirt covered by a fine shirt of striped gold and red. the front coming to mid thigh length where the back continues just below the knee. A belt of brown leather with a golden buckle with a light grey fur trim sits round his waist above the gold and red shirt. His legs are adorned in a cream legging with two diagonal leather straps around his left upper leg.

His legs are bathed in more armour. Protective armoured knee plates that like the elbow plates to not hinder movement. Following down in different plate sections to his feet that hide tough leather boots and on his heel adorn a pair of spurs.

He sometimes appears wearing just a simple undershirt of a beige light material with no sleeves and a v neck cut, tided with some brown thong. his legs in a dark legging and a pair of brown knee high boots. Generally for his more casual summonings.

History: Many centuries ago Lives a castle belonging to a lord and his family. They were very fair to the people who lived on the land they owned. Very well liked by his subjects but envied by a neighboring lord who wanted the land he owned. The lord had a beautiful wife and a handsome son he named Roland.

While Young Roland often found himself watching the Squires as they trained. One he found himself very close to was a mage Squire by the name of Beliel Amell. The mage was talented but not more then most of the other Squires but his heart was one that attracted the young noble. The mage made sure that the noble would never feel loanly and marveled at the times he made the young man laugh or smile even if it meant a wounded pride. The pair grew together they developed a close bond.

One night in the stables it was the noble who made the first move and declared his unsure feelings for the mage. The mage stunned could not answer until Roland went to run away. Stopping him he let out a fumbled confession of his hearts ache for the other. How his knights duty prevented him from betraying his lord. They shared there first kiss with only the wicker of horses as there witness.

The pair kept a hidden courtship away from prying eyes. Beliel forever sworn loyalty to the noble family and was soon honored a mage knight. Honoring the mage with the legendary Phoenix Armour.

But time was against them. The jealous lord set up an attack on the lord's castle. Beliel stood at the front of the mage knights determined to protect his lord and lover. The battle was long none realizing the power the attacking lord had. Wounded and barely able to move he put himself as the last line of defense.

The lord struck with a fierce blow to his already dying body sending him down. Barely alive to watch as he killed his lord and lady in front of his eyes. As it came to Roland's turn he could do nothing but scream as his loves life was taken before his eyes. In anger he used the last of his strength to attack the lord managing to scar the mans face permantly. But little did he know the lord had a powerful dark mage at his side. To rub salt in the wounds and as punishment the mage used his magic to preform a painful transformation on Beliel. Forcing him behind the spirit gates and into the celestial realm forcing his body to abandon it's physical life and change into a celestial spirit.

Trapped in the darkness Beliel's mind broke down with his body. Storing the memories in a dark recess of his mind till the knight only knew the basic's of his magic and his honer. The painful memories of his human life locked away for now. Even his name lost.

In history Beliel was written as either a knight who turned to the other side with the legendary armour, or a knight who ran away with it. No one knew where it dissapered to and some whispered that it became corrupted when the knight dishonered his vows. No one knew what truely happened to him.

His key was sold onto merchant after merchant until it passed onto the first mage. But the key being an unknown no spirit mage could summon the spirit inside. In the end it kept being past around sold for cheap prices. Until....His key ended up in the hand's of Ranmaru
