Personality: Rin is one of the 10 wizard saints and that isn't for no reason. She is typically seen as the quiet type. She doesn't really like to make loud noise or make large amounts of conversation. She deems it unnecessary to scream and will only talk in her regular voice. This doesn't mean that she won't put a bit of power behind her voice if she needs to get someone's attention. Another thing about her is that she seems to be quite independent. Since she had passed the S-rank exams she has always been seen as the type to depend on themselves rather then others. Her self-reliance can sometimes be seen as a bad thing, but then again it is a good thing. The good in this is that she knows basic survival skills. She can survive in a forest alone, simply because she barely takes group missions. This independence may be another reason why she is the quiet type. Fearing to break out of her little comfortable shell she doesn't react with much.

Unlike most fairy tail members, she isn't one to cause chaos and destruction. The stereotype for Fairy Tail members is that they create destruction everywhere and that they do not care about the rules. This is different for Rin. Rin seems to always try to keep fights as clean as possible. She doesn't really enjoy doing Chaos and disobedience. If there is a law that the magical Council puts up that she doesn't agree with she will usually ignore it. If there is a conflict between her guild and the magical council, then she would quickly let all hell break lose and show the disobedient chaos that some Fairy Tail members cause. For the most part she tends to follow her own rules in terms of council things. She follows what she morally finds right, and usually agrees with the master. No matter what the case is she is completely obedient to the master, and if he was to tell her to jump off a bridge she might do it.

Rin's personality while fighting is different from most. When in a battle or spar in which she can’t take someone seriously she may make some arrogant remarks, or show that she is not trying. She will play with that person and then end things quickly at the last moment. If the battle proves to be one where she can't toy and if its against someone powerful she may have a more serious look on her face and keep a straight face. She will unleash her full power on enemies and attempt to end the battle swiftly to minimize the damage it may cause. Also while fighting she tends to be someone who thinks fast. Being a swordsman she relies mainly on her sword, but that doesn't mean she won't use her magic also.

The final thing about Rin that most people can't pick up is that she truly loves her guild members. Though she may not show it with her quiet self, she treasures everyone and tries to look over him or her when she can. Her goal at the moment is to make her family happy, and she will do whatever it takes to try to save a guild member. This love and compassion toward the guild members is one that many people don't know of. So overall as you can see Rin is truly a diverse individual.
Likes: Guild mates: These are her comrades and she will protect them no matter what. She likes all of her guild mates, even if she finds them annoying. She believes that blood is thicker then water, and all of her guild mates are her blood. So therefore even if it is a childhood friend attacking or criticizing her guild mates, she may end up defending them.

Swords: Since she is a swordsman herself Rin enjoys seeing swords. She greatly admires them and can tell a fine sword when she sees one herself. Truly she enjoys the great work of a blacksmith and she will make sure to let someone know the quality of his or her sword.

Training: One of her favorite things to do is refine her skills. She believes no one can be too good or two strong and one should always aim to be the best. That is why she refines her skill, in hope of becoming the number on wizard saint.

Missions: Nothing is better then a good old mission. She uses missions to cool down most of the time. It is a great distraction for herself. She enjoys missions because after completing it there is no better feeling then knowing you may have helped someone out with a serious issue.

Dislikes: Bullying: Any way shape or form of bullying in front of Rin is asking for a fight. She hates bullying and finds that it is something the weak do to appear strong. Any type of bullying is the perfect way to get Rin angry.

Death: No one likes death. Death is something that happens everywhere and Rin has grown accustomed to it, but she still dislikes it. When seeing someone die Rin will often say a prayer to them or promise them a burial service. Even if the person may be a person who she killed herself.

Losing: Like everyone else Rin is not a loser. No one likes losing, and Rin is no exception to that. So to overcome this like, whenever she loses it always seems to push her due to how much she dislikes the feeling.

Excuses: Even after Losing Rin rarely makes excuses. Her motto is "No complaints, no excuses." Showing that if someone has the talent and strength to beat her she is willing to accept it.

General Appearance: Her general look is best described as someone who is fit and in shape. Rin has an athletic build. Her skin is white and glistens in the sun. It is tanned, and she is always seen wearing the same outfit. She wears a white vest with gold borders on it. Rin usually wears a white rice hat on her head with a golden like triangle border. At the edge of the hat hands little pieces of silver links that have brown strings attached to them. ON the very center of the hat two white pieces stick out in separate directions. For her look she usually has a arm band around her arms that is white with the same triangle pattern. Then she has gauntlets on both hands that are made of silver. At where the fingers of the gauntlet it is black and resembles a glove with a gauntlet attached to it. This part of the gauntlet shows all of her fingers.

She has white baggy pants that are cut revealing a part of her legs. These baggy pants are visible up to the knee, and then they are covered by a silver armor on both of her shins. This goes down to a brown shoe, which is extremely comfortable for her to move in. On the back, there are three pieces of fabric with a triangle end that hang from the center of her pants curving toward the left. These fabrics are 16 inches. A similar design appears at the front of her pants, near the belt, with two pieces of fabric with triangles at the very end. They are about 4 inches. On top of all this is a brown belt. This brown belt, at the buckle is a white metal. The metal is a circle shape and at the very center of it is the fairy tail guild symbol. There is all types of symbols and designs on this belt.

Type: Rin is an unclose fighter. She enjoys fights with hand-to-hand combat due to her immense strength. With this immense strength she can also swing her sword quite quickly. Her agility also enables her to move her sword gracefully. She tries to overwhelm her opponent with the strength that they wouldn't expect a female to have.


History: In the early years of Rin's life she was always seen as an intellectual baby destined for great things. She wasn't no genius of course, but she was above average from the average child. Rin was an Orphan from birth; Rin did not know who her parents were, so she had only known her foster mother, Tora. Her foster home consisted of her, and 10 other children who couldn't get a home. She was home schooled by her foster mom who taught the children the virtues they should have. Truly, her foster mom was one of the greatest women Rin may ever encounter. Rin seemed to be one of the physically stronger females. She did not look like a man however. She simply was a bit stronger. So like that years went on where Rin would learn from Tora. No one there had a last name; all of them would gain one upon getting a new parent who adopted them. The years went by, and kids slowly got adopted.

By the age of 10 Rin was one of the last two of the foster children. The funds of the foster home were running slow, and Tora was sick. Tora refused to not take care of them, and so she stubbornly taught them while sick. Then one day, Tora just didn't wake up. The other foster child with Rin called the local authorities, however Rin had learned too much to be put into another foster home. She believed that Tora was her one and true mother, and that Rin wouldn't be fostered forever. She had to find somewhere else. With that Rin took her leave leaving the other Foster child to be taken in by the local authorities. First thing was first Rin, had to find a new place to stay. She spent 2 day going hungry looking for a home. She believed she was going to starve to death, but all of a sudden as she lay down on the street floor a man came. The man picked Rin up and carried him all the way to a place.

It was a large building with a weird symbol. As the man brought Rin in there were many people, all drinking and eating and having fun. They fed Rin immediately. As rin Ate she watched how all the people were so happy, however they had none of their families with them. She asked the man what was this? And the man would tell her it was fairy tail. After that Rin decided she would stay and live at fairy tail. It was the best free food, water, and most importantly there were people there. She grew to love the people and quickly realize how they got the funding for this. The men there were all mages and all seemed to have some unique quality or trait to them. With this Rin wanted to be like them. She wanted to take care of others by using her skill. Like that Rin began training her magical ability.

By the age of 15 Rin was already considered to be a B-rank mage. She was quite physically strong and knew how to use a sword well. Many people called her a prodigy and claimed she would be one of the strongest in no time. She used a sword and magic to fight, and slowly became more renowned in Magnolia and her guild. Other then this Rin would take missions a lone, and occasionally with teams. Up to this point nothing brought much attention to Rin. That was until the S-rank exams.

During the S-rank exams she dominated by using her gravity magic. She was only 18 years old and it was a close match, to become S-rank it was a 1on1 fight. She was about to lose. Up to this point everyone thought Rin was only a swordsman, however she revealed her gravity magic nearly smashing her opponent into the ground. Many people were amazed and impress by this magic, and with this she won the S-rank exams after the exams Rin was declared an S-rank. 2years later she was declared a wizard saint at the age of 20. At this age Rin had gotten the respect of many of her guild mates and now she was a in the top 7 wizard saints due to her skill.

After that she would take on three wizard saints above her. The only hard wizard saint for her to beat was the former 7th because he was a complete even match for her. She had almost lost her life in the battle, however she was willing to push herself to the limits to win. Truly was this girl who came from an orphanage greatly talented. As she is entered into the Wizard Saints they ask her a question. "What is your name." Rin responded "Rin." However the people ask for her full name. Rin smiled because her full name was easy. Her last name was based on a person she owed her entire life and success to. Even though this person didn’t teach her magic, this person surely may be the reason she was alive today. Rin would respond with grea joy "Rin Tora."
